Who Is Lokesh Dhar? Age, Family Background and Early Life of the Dhurandhar Producer

 For every big-budget Bollywood release, there's often a producer working quietly in the shadows — and for Dhurandhar (2025), it's Lokesh Dhar.

Lokesh was born on Jan 01, 1994 in Delhi into an academically and artistically adept Kashmiri Pandit Family. His mother, Dr Sunita Dhar, used to be Dean of the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts at Delhi University while his father Bhushan Lal Dhar has largely kept a low profile. Lokesh is a younger brother of the filmmaker Aditya Dhar (married to actress Yami Gautam)

The Dhar brothers spent a lot of times at local theatre halls in Delhi when they were kids, which might have dictated the course both of their careers that would eventually converge to cinema. Whereas Aditya went on to pursue academics, studying at Delhi University during their mother's tenure, Lokesh took a different course — skip the traditional education and enter the film business straight from adolescence.

It was that early, actual-world publicity to the industry that may outline his whole profession. Standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and secretive about his personal life, Lokesh has avoided the media despite rising to prominence as personal life of his brother.

Today, he is Co-Founder of B62 Studios — the production studio behind many recent hits from Bollywood; and remains happily working behind the scenes (unlike his more well-known brother).
